However, they've become one of the most preferred audio-grade box film caps in the audiophile culture. The voltage rating makes them ideally suited for high-voltage tube amplifiers and these caps were used standard in the Beezar Audio/ECP Audio Torpedo tube amplifiers, especially the T3 and T4 headphone amplifiers. At their size and ratings, they sound better than Wima MKP or Vishay-Roederstein, often the favorite box film caps at low-voltage audio applications.
